STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL: Due our small size you can be confident that all aspects your matter will remain strictly confidential. This is why our clients include many wealthy and famous people who value discretion and privacy. We have for many years worked for prominent residents of the Bay Area on extremely sensitive personal matters. We are known for our absolute discretion. In many cases, matters are able to be kept out of the public eye with the use of various strategies such as the use of Neutrals, Mediators and Private Judges. Most of this work is by personal referral. As a result we have also worked for international celebrities seeking a discrete solution to their legal issues.

THE WAY WE WORK FOR YOU
THE WAY WE WORK: Family Law. After an initial consultation we carry out an initial assessment of the situation and quickly provide you with our preliminary advice along with various cautions appropriate to the matter. However unlike other attorneys we triage the current matter keeping in mind your best interests as follows:
1. COUNSELING: Is there a possibility of the situation being worked out? Have you tried counseling? Is there a place and time to step back and look at alternatives to separation and or disagreement over issues?
2. NO COST/LOW COST ALTERNATIVES: Starting with using self-help available at many Courts for the self-represented person to Legal Aid and Family and Children’s Law Centers along with Pro Bono services some, not all matters can be handled with none to little legal fees being incurred.
3. KEEPING LEGAL FEES DOWN: In some cases all that is needed is a Limited Scope Representation, usually just to appear at a Court Hearing for the client.
4. FULL RETAINER: Only if the matter needs an attorney’s full attention do we move on to discussing a full engagement with the client. Legal fees can and do mount up. A detailed written engagement letter is provided and you get as much time as you need to review it before signing. Bills are normally sent out monthly and are detailed as to the work carried out on your behalf.
YOUR PRIORITIES: Your priorities are identified at the earliest possible time and a plan is put together to lay out a path to enable you to move as efficiently as possible towards your goals. These may be Asset Protection, Custody, Visitation, Support, Estate Planning, Property Division and Domestic Abuse Prevention.
THIRD PARTY CONSULTANTS TEAM APROACH: Often outside expertise is required for more complex matters where a team approach is needed. Consultants may include some or all of the following depending on each case:
Taxation Specialists – CPAs and Lawyers.
Mediators
Forensic Accountants - to determine income available for support and business appraisals.
Real Estate Appraisers.
Estate Planners.
Financial and Investment professionals.
